Ready to get muddy?
Wellie tots is a toddler group which is all about the great outdoors.
We’re passionate about introducing children to the world of gardening and giving them the opportunity to play, craft and learn amongst the nature around them.
Our activities vary week to week and although it’s about getting those welly boots muddy, we also have plenty of sheltered outdoor activities for the children (and parents!) to get involved in on those rainy days!

Water play
Follow the water as it creates its own path
Wellie tots has its own purpose built water wall helping to develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Mud kitchen
A good excuse to make mud pies
Our mud kitchen is a great way to encourage role-play as well as creativity.
Sand pit
Digging, pouring, scooping and building
Playing in our teepee sandpit promotes physical development, building larger muscles.
Gardening
Watching your own seeds grow
Spending time at our planters helps to develop our senses, teaches responsibility and patience and builds our social skills.
Arts and crafts
Painting, sticking, making and creating

About me
I'm Laura Parker, Wellie tots founder
I’ve been a teacher for ten years, specialising in Maths.
Since having my two children I’ve become increasingly enthusiastic about giving them the opportunity to be outside and enjoy the wonders of nature – the small things we often walk past and take for granted day to day.
